OUR STORY

Established in 2015 by medical student, Casey Knight, The Nanny Diary set out with a goal to provide affordable, professional, high-quality care for the every day family. Casey recognised the busy families of Adelaide were lacking in care options that would provide a holistic service and help manage the demands of every day life. The Nanny Diary has rapidly grown to provide an array of services to over 150 clients in Adelaide and the Barossa Valley. Our nannies are interviewed and screened thoroughly before joining our agency, to ensure we provide only the most trustworthy, responsible, mature and reliable nannies. We have fast earned a reputation for providing an invaluable service that our clients will recommend time and time again to family and friends. The Nanny Diary will ensure your children are well cared for, as well as making sure you come home to a clean house, washing done and a lovely meal cooked. We provide regular permanent nannies, casual babysitting, school drop offs and pick ups, wedding nannies and a corporate creche service. The Nanny Diary promotes a no technology policy and will endeavour to be active and outdoors whenever possible. We love picnic lunches, riding our bikes to school, nature treasure hunts or simply reading a book under the shade of a tree, and we recognise the immense benefits the sunshine and fresh air has on children.

OUR Charity Work

Since 2017, The Nanny Diary has worked tirelessly to host an annual Gala Dinner for the Childhood Cancer Association, raising much needed funds. The Childhood Cancer Association is a local organisation providing vital services to children of South Australia currently suffering from cancer. They receive no government funding for the help they provide, and we are thrilled to be able to help out such an important cause. Since 2017, we have raised over $40,000 through the hard work of our nanny team and the support of our wonderful families. We have also supported the Smith Family and the Drought Appeal as well. We believe giving back to the community that supports us is essential and will continue to help out where we can.

OUR ACHIEVEMENTS

In 2018, The Nanny Diary was named as 1 of 8 South Australian Finalists in the Perks Business Boost Awards. Our business strategy, rapid growth, philosophy and goals for the future lead to us being recognised as a worthy finalist and it remains our proudest achievement to date.
